WWII airplane, 40 triggers & limit of grouper.

Absolutely killed it yesterday. Dove the deep airplane we found to get some more video and hopefully identify it. Rod and reel we wore out big big triggerfish. I weighed one of them at 8 pounds 3 oz. Pretty strong thermocline and about 25’ of visibility on the bottom. Saw lots of Red snapper and triggers on the bottom.
Came in to 110’ and got our limit of gags. Great day to be on the water.

Trigger is one of my favorite fish to eat. That water looks awesome. Great job!

It was a great day indeed. I counted 46 triggerfish and they were all very good sized. I hope I’m back in town for Snapper weekend but I have a feeling it will be another blowout like all snapper weekends are…
Andy and Derek: yes lets do a trip soon.

Those are some monster Trigger. Any of the them try and take a “nip” out of you while diving?
