Here you go Bob! I caught a flounder and a trout with the TroutTrick last Monday in a couple of hours of exploring new water.

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

ok’y dok’ey…so we stopped by Haddrells west ashley ( as always…great to see the kind folks there!) and picked up two bags of Trout tricks to give a try today…and we were very pleased with the results we got using them:smiley:…I forgot to grab my weedless hooks out of my other bag…so said …“what the heck…will try a regular head just to give it a try”… and this seemed like a real test to me…and we still caught fish with them! We fished with live shrimp, small mullet, electric chicken and cooper penny grubs…and all caught…but it seemed the trout trick “worms” really got their attention. Several trout tricks didnt make it through the day:frowning_face:…dang toothy little critters got their revenge too:wink:…but would definately recommend others give them a try. Heres a few pics…oh and btw…reds like them too!

thanks for making them available at local tackle shops…and thanks haddrells for carrying them for us!

Bob (or anyone else who’s had success with TroutTricks),
How important is the tide when fishing these lures? I’m often on a tight schedule when I come down from Charlotte, so I don’t always get to pick optimum fishing times. Any ■■■■■■■■ is welcome and appreciated.
Black Bart, Of all the influences we have to deal with while trout fishing, water clarity, for me, is the most important. If I can see 12 to 14 inches, at least, more is better, then I feel I can catch trout on any tide. What now comes into play for me is current velocity. In a normal flow, I fish anywhere and everywhere there is a live bottom nearby. In strong flows, I look for current breaks, such as oyster shell points, bars, bridges, trees in the water, etc. Good question. Hope this gets you steered in any direction, as time on the water and observation are key. Bob

Hey Bob- inshore slam on the TTs this morning. 7 trout (largest 19"), 1 red (rat), and a decent flounder. Thanks again.
