yakin/campin trip

My buds and I are gonna do a 2 night yak trip after x-mas. If I can’t figure nothing new out gonna do the edisto again, but would like to do somthin different. Already done capers, morris, and otter. I am curious bout campin sites on upper combee(prob. none, i know), Bear island or close(would like to tour morgan is.). Looking for something new. Safe landings and good campsites. Give me some ideas.
thanks.

I camped on Capers last summer and did not like all the people coming up to the camp site at 3am. I want to got to Botany Island (may have the name wrong) which is just south of Seabrook. I have seen people camping there before and I like the scenery down there. The beach is steep and right on the channel, so good fishing and very short walk to camp site. There are several creeks behind the island and more upstream.

We put in at givans state park. Tues. morning with ice still on the edges of river, burr… gotta get a better sleeping bag(Beer stayed resonably cool thoughout trip w /no ice). 1st night- camped at the sandbar/ jelicos, with plenty of firewood and poison oak:frowning_face:. Second night got asked to leave westvaco hunting property and camped across river at 2nd sandbar. The river was bout 4ft. and smooth w/ no other traffic. Pulled out at Martins ldg. -Tried…trout.sp? lines w/ no luck for catfish. beautiful weather besides the cold nights.

acid and fighting… please go to south end of island. Only drinkin and the occasional puff of smoke at north side.

you must have got beat up a lot, as a kid. I’ve never met any violent people out there. What is a spyderco?

Hard to get drunk when trippin… wouldn’t worry bout that.

Were you the drunk flounder gigger I saw last year carrying a lantern and 10 foot javelin at 2am?
