We got our boat in June. Went out everyweekend until football season started. Fished a few spots in bowens island creek and folly beach area. All that we boated was several stingrays. Surf fishing off of backside of folly beach by bird key produced one 14in black drum, wouldve kept it but didnt know what it was at the time. We thought we found the honeyhole shell bank and fished it hard on incoming tide, the ‘fish’ their would only hit live skrimps i realize now that those were just pinfish! i got one smaller drum and a stingray on sandy point or kiawah beach part in the stono. Only fish i caught this year were those drum a few rays a lil shark 2 reds and one 14.5 in trout (my first trout ever!) but im still fishin and livin the dream!
