Basically. Boat was running fine, never had a problem. running down the river. all the sudden just shuts off. try to crank it up runs for 2 seconds then shuts off. cant keep it running. if you play with the throttle it will stay running but thats it. any thoughts? i dont knwo much about boat motors. I replaced the bulb in the gas line and cleaned the fuel filter out but still doing the same thing.
Motor is a 06 with maybe 15 hours on it max. probably not even that

I had a similar issue w/ mine (2 stroke). I put an inline fuel filter between the bulb and the engine, and was able to see the fuel filter fill up when I squeezed the bulb and then drain when the engine ran. Turned out my problem was in the pickup between the gas tank and the fuel line. I could get gas to flow w/ the suction created by the bulb, but there wasn’t enough normal vacuum to keep it going once the engine started running. I swapped out the gas tank and the fuel line, kept the in line filter and she’s run like a champ ever since.
Only other recommendation would be to DeepCreep (http://www.seafoamsales.com/deep-creep.html) the engine. You can find Deep Creep at AutoZone or Walmart.
