Yamaha 150 issue

I have an ox66 fuel injected yamaha that abruptly started dying out during rockville regatta this year. it would run underway for maybe 20 seconds to maybe a minute before repeating. if someone on the boat would squeeze the bulb every 3 seconds it would run the whole tank of fuel out. if squeezed to much, it seemed to flood it? my thoughts are fuel lines or the fuel pump. but im not very mechanical. The fuel/water seperater was clean as a whistle and was changed this year. any accurate thoughts what this problem might be? Thanks!

sounds like a faulty lift pump
there are 2 of them
if the diaphram is bad, over squeezing will flood that cylinder with fuel
we stock the parts and can fix it for you, or just sell you the parts

Ah yes - squeezing things at Rockville Regatta often creates problems.
