Yamaha 2 strokes?

Why are they no longer made? Is it the same with the other outboard manufacturers?

4-strokes are so much greener…Ha Ha. Seriously, do they really not make any 2-strokes anymore? I love my little 70.

I think they only make the 2 stroke in some of the small motors

Nope. Starting with 2010 models, no more 2-strokes… even in the “portable” series. Yes, emissions, greener, Obama.

This had nothing to do with Obama, these standards were put in place before he even ran for president.
