So I got a new water pump and seal kit put on, cruised around a good bit, top speed and idle, then after about an hour of runnin, I put her in an extremely slow throtle, just chuggin along and then the alarm went off?, I turned her off got o the troling motor. Several times we turned the key and the alarm was going off. after 10 minutes she turned on no alarm, cruised at a bunch of different speeds no alarm, sat idle for 10 minutes nbon alarm. She was pissin the whole time. What was that all about? Thanks
Could have been some trash in the system. Or idle too low.

So I am not very bright when it comes to this type of thing (engines) so how could trash in the system couldv’e caused the alarm, as far as idle being to low, would that be something I should call the shop and ask about? When they had it last week they said they tried everything to make the alarm go off, and of course it didn’t, so I am not sure what to really think, but it is concerning wouldn’t ya think?

i had mine go off for a while because of the oil level sensor going bad. i disconnected the sensor harness and it went away.
