After maybe 10 minutes of run time my pee stream starts to trickle. I usually run some monofilament in the hole and it pees full blast again, but only for 10 minutes. Been doing this for years now and wondering is there a fix for this besides taking apart the engine?
I’m having a similar issue (although I think I found my problem to be a leaky pump housing), someone here suggested I use a vinegar flush. However, if your obstruction isn’t salt crust, then the vinegar won’t work.
I don’t know about your motor but most aren’t all that hard to pull the foot off. Mine is a piece of cake to pull apart but an aggravation to put back together (getting the drive shaft to align), usually takes me 20 minutes just to get it aligned. But not too hard. You probably won’t need to replace any gaskets if you just pull the foot to access the pump. If you do, blow some compressed air down the orifice for your tell-tale and wash out the inside of the mid-section thoroughly— at the very least.
