You are right on the dealer! Buy what you have access to good service! Not all dealers have good service either! Talk to past buyers!
Chris V, pm sent.

You will have to pay the 6% tax at registration even though purchased out of state. Cant hide from the tax man.
They will ship it right to your local dealer for rigging and warranty registration.

They sell a lot of motors online and are highly regarded on the freshwater side.
Your installer should be able to get any gauges you need. If not, simyamaha has been a good resource.
The 2017 Outboard Rigging and Parts Catalog has rigging diagrams with part numbers to help find exactly what you want.

The Suzuki 140 is typically cheaper than the Yamaha 115. I know everyone has an opinion, but I have a 2 Suzuki’s and a Yamaha and when I buy another I will 100% buy another Suzuki. Doss marine did my Suzuki repower and they were the cheapest by far that I could find. They had the boat back to me in like 3 days.
Yeah Blue Runner, but you have to register the trailer in NC…Much worse.
We have a permanent tag now, good for as long as you own the trailer. But yeah, renewing that tag every year did suck prior to that.
