Was out in my neighbors CC with twin Yamaha 150’s (2006’s I believe). Had no issues until we pull up to his dock. When I put starboard engine into reverse, I could feel the gear shifter leaving neutral much further back on the shifter than it should be, and then only an increase in throttle, no actual engagement of reverse. Is this likely a linkage issue under the cowling or at the throttle controller?
The boat sits at a dock so if there’s a simple dockside solution that’ll be a lot better than pulling the boat for a simple problem.
