Is there any way to adjust the upward trim travel on an 06 50hp Yammie? I would like it to stop automatically before engaging my poling platform. I just know I am going to forget about it and crush my engine cover before too long. Thanks.

i dont think so, not with the factory equipment
Shearwater installed some mercury switches on the the F250’s to stop them from hitting.
Strap a throw out cushing to bottom of platform. Or take the cover off the motor. Nah, just messing with you about the cover. Mabe have something made that mounts in front of engine that will catch as the engine pivots over.

Thanks for the tip. I did a little research and called Shearwater and they were nice enough to share the Mercury trim limit switch part number that they use. #814407A2
