Took the boys yesterday afternoon to Murray to work off some M&M’s and Co-Cola. They ran around for a bit and I finally talked them into getting in the boat and trolling around on the leeward side of the cove. After I trolled from the dock into the cove around the resting birds, both are ready to go back “It’s cold!” they said. On the way back to the dock, the oldest pulls in a 20 incher. They both were “not cold” for a little while but we headed back to the dock anyway. The bait is stacked up and the fish are around them. If the wind quits blowing, we’ll have to head back out.
