Yesterday morning redfish

https://youtu.be/ZTbuaitYVNo

It’s been almost two weeks since I last fished but was finally able to get out yesterday morning for a few hours on the incoming tide.

I started out in Price Inlet but the water was really stained so I went through the narrows at low tide to get to Bull Island. The water was much better and it didn’t take 15 minutes to land my first red.

It was a good morning and I was able to get my two redfish. My wife told me not to come home without fish :grimacing:.
We fried them up in Uncle Bucks hot and spicy with cooked cabbage and fried jalapeños.

As per usual the video is at the top for those interested.

…well, some fishing too!

I enjoy fishing by myself. Plus, I only had a few hours. And I have no idea what this weather is going to do.

Great to meet you today Kerry!
Come back any time

Great meeting you and Ralph. And, the Texas Eyes that I picked up are the same ones that I’m using. For some reason the hooks looked bigger. Les is going to build me a rod. I’m stoked about that!
