I finally broke down and bought a $250 pair of sunglasses about three years ago. I thought everybody was crazy for spending that much on sunglasses until I put them on. There is a difference.
I found a source to buy a yeti cooler for “dealer pricing” and let me tell you there is a difference!

i would not buy a yeti for tailgating. for staying at the deer camp or standing on it on casting deck of boat i may. Dont get me wrong but goodt lawd they are high priced.
I did some research on the best cooler at the best price point a few months ago. Check out the K-2. It is roto- molded just like the Yetis however K-2’s have more insulation on the bottom of the cooler-which will result in ice lasting longer plus they are considerably less expensive. 90 qt cooler retails for around $340.00.

They aren’t all they are hyped to be. If you are going to spend the $$ look at frigid rigid. They are worth every penny . My yeti sits in the shed and frigid goes everywhere with me. Just my .02…
I’ve got an Engel and had a K2 for a short time and from the “testing” I’ve done, I would put them against the Yeti. Cheaper, just as good, and you’re not jumping on a bandwagon.
Just checked out prices…$300 for a 45 qt cooler? No thanks!!
I have much better things to squander my money on…(fishing tackle to name one).

I have been looking at getting a yeti. I have been in between a yeti or one of the new pelicans. But after reading the last post I will be buying the pelican. Customer service is every thing to me!
