in Oregon Inlet. Been talking to some of my buds up that way and they’re saying they havent seen squid and fish like this in some years. Huge schools of Tuners including YFTs and Bigeyes. Tryin to get away for thursday to see for myself.
Maybe some will get lost and come our way in the next couple weeks!
i love pics of interesting things and those pics were fantastic. i typically thank people for sharing good fishing pics. a picture of the inside of bessingers with 23 eating some mustard q does nothing for me.
Some friends of mine went this past weekend and had a box full (including two bigeyes) and were back at the dock at 11:00 or so. That was on a charter. The second day was not quite as good, but still not bad a’tall.
My intent was to go up tonight but something came up. I will not be going till next weeks first sign of decent weather. If some want to put together a make up charter, Im game. I have two others sitting on go also. Let me know, hit me up here or e-mail to acesellsthebeach@yahoo.com
Anyone have an educated guess how long that bite will stay hot up there? I can’t get out of town till the first week of AUG, but if anyone’s interested then I can probably put two/three people in to build a charter.
I am going to shoot for middle of next week weather permitting. Charters out of OI seem to be easier to come by during the week. Weekenmds are tougher to book short notice. How long the bite will last is hard to say, got alot to do with the sea temps and weather, sometimes its balls to the wall for a few weeks sometimes a few days. Gotta go when you know its hot which right now. Still might shut down over night.
