Give me two weeks to think about it.
A case could be made for Brett Venables being the “horse pulling the plow” all those years at Tater Tech.
Dabo seems, ,well,off.
Anyway, I’m pulling for the Oklahoma boys today.

I love making history for letting a team come back and win after a 27 point lead. What a joke we are. huge laughing stock. i haven’t watched the after game press conference yet, but boy did we lay down like a Spruill Ave worker back in the 90’s.
Ouch, a peek into the next few years scheduled looks harder on the coots than summer camp at Colonel Sanders.
Tennessee has no cake walk either.
I’m going to watch the Gamecocks beat up on Coastal Saturday. It might be my last chance to see a a W in Billy Brice for a while.

word I heard is the university is not sitting on enough $$$ to schitcan him due to the upgrades to the facilities in Columbia.
It is a nice fieldhouse and training facility now, so there’s that.

The problem is… who are you going to get to replace him? Is he better than whoever comes after LSU, Florida, Vatech, possibly FSU? Plus whatever happens at Ole Miss.
He’s the best option right now
I vote for Tony Elliott, but I’m biased.
Butch Jones?
Really, anybody would be better. Best to just rip the band-aid off and move along. He sold the Coot nation Hope and Change, but has only delivered hype and hope.
He’s “flocking up” the brand (see what I did there) in my opinion. I’m a VOL first and foremost, but I keep a close eye on the coop outside Cayce.
Clark Lea is who I’d chase if I were thinking about plucking feathers down there.
I think Dabo is gonna be hard on the dirt peckers this weekend too, so theres that. State Champs matters as much in South Carolina as it does at the iron bowl in alabama or egg bowl in mississippi, so it might be a loooong off season for baby beamer.
just my .02 cents

I think I’m going to be a Vandy fan through the playoffs…
what a piss poor season for my chickens. a completely embarrassing ending to say the least. i honestly hope Sellers finds a new home. even if we had better play calling, he simply can’t execute. I have never seen a QB regress this bad in one year with no injury. I don’t know what to think about for next year, but unless we somehow get LSU NIL money we probably win 5 and solidify being the new Vanderbilt of the league.
just wait till next year?
For me anyway, I learned a long time ago not to get too awfully out of sorts over any one season.
It’s young men, older boys really from 18-22 years old, that can make or break a season (or even make or break a coaches career path) with their “ways” these days.
That’s everything from NIL money to being treated like heros as entering freshmen.
so anyway, yeah it sucks balls some years, but there’s always next year
it’s the hope that kills you*
This quote should be written on the front of williams brice stadium. we’ve been saying this as a fan base for 60 years. O’well, at least we have a championship equestrian team. Oh yea, we use to win baseball championships too. ![]()
