My father had one of those old Johnson Seahorse outboards, but I think it was a 35 horse. 
i have a 7.5 seahorse on my canoe
I have a 9.9 Johnson, but it was built in the 80’s.

yeah, ive rebuilt a hand full of starters, motors, etc. as long as the magnets arent unglued and/or broken, i should be able to make it work.
