Ran into this guy who fishes off the dock at the ramp every day. He got snagged yesterday and wound up pulling this in. That’s a nail through 2 egg sinkers at the bottom to weight it down and a string at the top to throw it out. The bait holder and latch were all rusted off…looks like it been down there a long time. Not sure what they were thinking…maybe turtles ? or a muskrat?
