I decided to get the yak out before the weather closed in. Hit the water to fish the falling tide and first hour or so if incoming.
Brought 10 reds to hand, all but 2 over slot with biggest at 27 inches. Broke off 2 big girls and caught 1 speckled red with 11 spots on 1 side and 14 on the other.
Rain started at 12 and the fish stopped biting. Headed up the hill with 80 Kayak Wars points for team Sleigh Ride

Are you using 16 or 32 G sd cards in the Hero cameras and at what setting? Also how many minutes of recording time do you normally get?

I use a 16G card and 720p @ 30 frames per second. I have it set in one touch record mode and shoot in short 5 minute bursts. I think I’ve got over 2 1/2 hours on a 16G card before.

Thanks Tommy. Got one for Xmas but I haven’t tried it out yet. I did pick up a 32G card and plan on getting the rail mount so I can put it on the console grab rail.

It falls off fast in 2 steps; one about 15, the other about 25-30 feet deep. This time of year I’ll always prospect a deep hole.
