Got out on the flat perfectly. Immediately saw several reds doing a keg stand and today was different…they didn’t want any arties with a trace of white or grey in the bait and they would either eyeball it or spook. So we switched to darker baits and that was the ticket. The only problem this go round was she just wouldn’t remember to let them have it in there mouth a little longer before Bill Dance’n that hook set. The fish would be on for about 2 seconds and pull the hook. Once we figured everything out the water got too high to see them tail and the chop became prevalent which kept the cruisers safe as well. Saw mostly upper slot fish with a couple just over.
