So it’s that constant harassment I hear anytime hunting season comes to an end… can we go fishing, can we go fishing, CAN WE GO FISHING??? So after my wife says Bye Boy before i could even ask her to back me up with a firm no!!! I was gathering gear and heading out. Saw some schooling post-spawn giants today feeding on bait and my youngen, like usual, calls out DIBS!!! She hooked into at least an 8 pounder and then it throws the hook. Next 2 casts hooks into at least a 7 pounder and again Bass Ruth slings the bait out to the fences. 2 more casts later she hooks up to this 6.5 pounder and ol’ pops did a phenomenal job as a net man this time!
