Just wondering what names members here have on there boats. I’ve seen alot of the same boats many times while I am out and about and would like to know if I should stop and say hey or wave and keep going…
My boat doesn’t have a name yet, still thinking about that. It is a Cape Horn 24 center console with a blue t-top and blue bottom paint. Say hello if you see me out there.
An allusion to my preference for topwater fishing, see signature below for explanation…
Fishing on the bottom is like having sex with the lights turned off. It feels good… but I wanna see it.
Lights On!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of dust with a rod in one hand and a beer in the other,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming…
No one in the family can agree on a name. The boys want something fierce like Demon Fish Killer or Sea Viper but I am not sure a 17’ cc is worthy of such a name and not being the best of fisherman, we are not worthy either. The wife wants something cutesy like Crab Puff or Shrimp Dip and that ain’t happening. We kind of narrowed it down to Sand Flea or Sea Monkey, just have not really decided. Don’t let that stop you from waving though.
Mine has it plastered on the sides in black and gold with black T-top and curtains. The original Jumpin’ Bean was a Boston Whaler 17 Outrage. Since it had the propensity to jump people around and being a “Bean Town” boat, Jumpin’ Bean was selected. It was only fitting to name my Edgewater version 2.0 since it was designed by the same person; it does ride a whole lot better though.
