There’s a picture of a nice red grouper in the above post. This is my pass for posting in the Offshore Discussion

That is a boss of a red grouper sir!!! I saw your campaign signs all around Awendaw yesterday and even one for targets at the gun range in Wambaw!!! Vote for Goldfinch!

I’d vote for him if I didn’t live in GA. Seems like a good man to me.

If you live in Pawleys/Litchfield/Murrells Inlet, please vote Goldfinch tomorrow.

Goldfinch is one of the dwindling few sportsmen in the state legislature we can count on to fight the ever-growing federal mismanagement regime that’s gotten out of hand offshore and is threatening to take over inshore fisheries and hunting.

Goldfinch wants to see the science on management issues and uses common sense in his decisions. Don’t have to worry about radical special interests from outside our state and community swaying his votes on issues.

There’s been a lot of out of state money spent against him in the last few months, and he needs us to show up tomorrow in the voting booths!

DoubleN - I arrowed that bull in Western Colorado. About an hour East of Grand Junction. He went 363 1/3. He’s my largest with a bow thus far. Shot him at 8 steps.

NICE!!!

I’m surprised you didn’t win by more - but a win is a win. You have done a great job protecting our outdoor rights and privileges and we appreciate it.

Will you go through with truth in seafood at the consumer level? As one that has commercial fished and wholesaled seafood - the fishermen and seafood re-sellers are REQUIRED to not only be truthful in seafood labeling, but also must label if its “cultivated” along with the country of origin info (COOL). Then the same places that require this , sell to the public cheap Asian catfish (swai) as grouper.

Congrats on the win. We need you!!!

Congrats, Mr Goldfinch!

Truth N Seafood needs to be revisited . Just tell me when and I will make the drive to Columbia!

It appears that Truth in Seafood is going to be implemented administratively, rather than legislatively. As you can imagine, there are many people that want to take credit for such a thing, so it’s likely going to happen via regulation rather than legislation. I’m staying on this and will let everyone knows what’s happening. There were agencies that flat-out opposed the legislation, only to come along and ask for them to run the program (on their own terms). I don’t care who gets the credit, but it’s something that needs to happen.
