Z-Man minnowz

Anyone using the zman minnowz with success right now? I’ve used the bass assassign grubs for years and was just introduced to the zman equivalent. Anyone else prefer these when it comes to paddle tail grubs?

been using them for a couple years now… LOVE 'em… bluefish don’t bite 'em in half and they last a LOT longer than other brands while still having great action. Check out the streakz and the paddlerz… use some pro-cure gel on 'em and you’ll give up on gulp too…

Yes, reds all day long during fall and winter. Too much bait in the water to have good success though.

Thanks guys. I’ve been having trouble with bluefish biting the tails of my bass assassins. Hopefully these will be different.

Sometimes they may want to slide off of the jig head.get you some super glue and glue that bad boy on and they will last a long time. just a little glue at the head.

I have been using them all year with great success. I try to match the bait in the water and work it like it has been injured to help make it stand out. This time of year I prefer the smokey shad, mud minnow, and houdini using grey jig heads for clearer water and chartreuse jig heads for dirty water. Like Nikon said use the Pro-Cure scents to give yourself an extra edge. Also, take a look at the new 4 inch PaddlerZ. I picked up about a dozen trout in the heat of the day earlier week on them.

Using the Z-man jig headz or the mission fishin jig heads will help you keep the bait on the head. If you are using those 25 for a $1 jigheads you are gonna have fits trying to keep the bait on the jighead… small price to pay for baits that last 10 times longer then others tho.

I’m a huge fan of the trigger hooks. My flounder hookup ratio took off after I started using them instead of jig heads.

SteakZ, SwimmerZ, UltraShrimp, and CrabZ all get the job done.
