Our Z-Max 150’s alarm goes off if the motor idles for a while–maybe 10 minutes or so…like waiting to dock the boat etc.
There is plenty of water out of the pee hole.
Once the motor is above idle for a short time, the alarm goes off.
suggestions??
Had that happen on a Yamaha 225, no a Z-max. It was a low-pressure shut off valve, whatever that is.
Boy, can’t find any reference to that???
Wonder what and where that is??

Poppet valve my 150 did the same thing.

YOU CAN REMOVE T-STAT COVER WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING ON EAR MUFFS AND SEE HOW MUCH WAER IS COMING OUT THE TOP OF THE HEAD.
