Fishing has been hot all week as some of you may know. Just wanted to share a report. Capt Justin Hubbard took Joey Prochazka from Zman lures out on Friday (01/20/2012). They flat wore the reds out! They fished the last of the falling tide and the first bit of the incoming tide along the edges of the waterway just north of the IOP. Final tally for the day was 30 reds ranging from 26-32inches. Of course all on Zman. The hot bait was the 4inch and 5inch Paddlerz rigged with 3/16 Gamakatsu jigheads and 1/8oz Gamakatsu weighted worm hooks.Colors ranged from smokey shad, redbone to houdini. The fish were holding anywhere from less than a foot to 4 feet of water. Come stop by either location and try a pack or two. They are killer baits and last all day long.
