Zoo Crew 6-8

Headed out of Georgetown this morning from the Ferry Crossing. Crew consisting of Big Money, Verizon, AC and the Keystone Cop. After a speedy ride out at a good, bumpy 22 knots we found a small weed line in about 120-140ft of water and managed to catch 6 dolphin, 1 slinger and gaffers in the 15-20lbs range. A couple other boats joined us and it was soon over. Started trolling offshore and had a couple of knock downs but no fish. Picked up the lines and decided to run about twelve miles to check another spot. About half way there we happen upon a large turtle sunning with a decent dolphin under him. AC breaks out the old bass rod and manages to catch him. Decided to drop the lines there and and start trolling again. Not long after a fish hits the way back line and drops it so we feed it to him and he hits it again. I set the hook only to see a nice sailfish come out the water and throw the hook.

10 dolphin up to 20lbs
0 for 1 on sails

Fished 120-250ft
Water Temp 78-80 degrees
Hot color early blue and pink later in the day, red and black.

Great day! You boys going this weekend? We are heading out Saturday and/or Sunday

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

Flyinghigh we didn’t take a pic of the 20 lbs fish he was in the bottom of the fish box, more concerned with eating him.

Scoutin we are headed to Charleston via the boat and the locks in the morning and will return Sunday. Hope to get out there first decent day next week. You fishing Saturday?
