Phin, were do you purchase the fish baskets? I need one for my 300ft of anchor line & it would be a lot better transfering fish from the boat to the cleaning table(when the wind quits blowing)then the 5 gal buckets we use now.
Those pics and those fish could have been taken anytime. Those do no look like (to me anyway from the pics you posted),and I quote,“Just about the roughest seas I have ever fished…”
Do they look that rough to anyone else?
I think you are trying to catch more than just fish with this whole post.
Either way, why hide the only quality fish you “supposedly” caught yesterday. Not the regular Phin MO by any stretch of the imagination if you ask me.
Now tell us,what really happened yesterday? When were these fish actually killed? Is that in fact an 18’ gruuuuuupahhhhh hiding under those Florida Boy CB’s</font id=“size2”>?
'fess up Phin.
Hellz yeah…I got my own type of CB’s…They weren’t ALL 12"…just about 20 of them
man people are such losers… Nice job phin, what depth were you fishing? And what bait did you land the grouper on… Sorry there are guys like that, who try to ruin peoples day of fishing. I guess some, just don’t have nothing better to do. Anyway looks like you made the best of what seas you were given…

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
Haddrells point west ashley is where that particular one came from. I use them in exactly the ways you’ve said. I take my 300ft of 1/2" line, chain and anchor in it every time. When I get hung on the first spot the basket comes to the back of the boat. Basket gets full and it’s time for them to go on ice. Basket gets washed out; can transfer ice or help rinse down the boat. Then, the anchor line goes back in neat, and the polyball gets clipped to one of the handles for the ride.
I do the same thing with my 197. Doesnt matter what the water is doing; the pioneer will handle it. as long as you have the spray shield and gull wings your good to go. im doing a bimini trip in mine coming up here shortly

no offense to any pioneer boat owners but if your looking for a good offshore boat for a good price i would skip over a pioneer and go look at a sea hunt. best bang for your buck right there. again no offense to any pioneer owners i am just not a big fan.
From reds to marlin you got it.
