Fish Saturday low up when out to the flat that works at low tide and no action wind was high enought to keep me from seeing any movement but really didn’t see any reds blow up even when I went real shallow where they have been in the pass. Went to plan B sheltered water behind deep bank. fishing with 3" glup shrimp on 1/8 jig head caught a 24" then a 28" followed by 3 17"-21" eaters.throw in a 17" trout. tide 2.5 hours into the in coming moved to mm on bottom rig and scored 3 more keeper reds and two over the slot Reds and one more Trout on the bottom rigs. Met a real nice guy in alumium boat who was fishing for sheephead. We visited for several Min. about his rig and how hard it is to catch Sheeps. Anyway his wife calls and he has to leave to take care of what ever, offers us his fiddlers now this the first time I have ever tried to catch sheep head after 15 fiddlers I almost hook one down to the last fiddler and finally hook up and land a 16" sheep Head. Boy sheeps are difficut to catch. In order to catch a mess you will need dozens of fiddlers. But that is how was when I first started out trying to catch trout and Red Fish takes time on the water. But it will come if I continue to target Sheep Heads open for pointers. Sunday out @Low tide went back to deep Structure and but 5 Reds in the boat 2-tourmount 22.8" fish and one 24" and a day maker 31" all on white 3" glup shrimp. Had to be back in Orangeburg for a Christmas Family thing all in all a grat Edisto weekend.
