Christmas eve Red fish: hit the water at 12:00Am thinking I am looking at 3 hours before low Tide just could not stay around the house any longer any way big tide and a lot of water gots to go some where before the drops I plan to fish are right go to the grass flats to catch the burgers coming out of the grass spent hour waiting nothing shows go to proven dock that has produce in pass many times, ease up to the dock (**() the tides still screaming 2 hours two early for the drop throw and throw nothing move to another dock tide still not right, go back to 1st dock 3" white GULP Shrimp delivered between the 1st and 2nd Pilling the red came to the top of the water and the game was on we fought for at lest 10 minutes in the current got that one off the line reposition the boat and 3" white glup into the same spot as before and the same out come 2nd 25" Red to boat thank God for Power pro Line around the pillings Mono just doesn’t get the job done. one more Rat and thats all for Christmas Eve. Water temperture 45-46 F Tide Low @ ? still going out when I return to the dock @ 4:00PM ( need a new chart) Merry Christmas to all and may there be Reds under every cast and trout just waiting for you jig to it water.
