I am very excited to get my new 22’ Tidewater Carolina Bay boat wet this upcoming week. My wife and daughter have rented a house on the beach for spring break. I have never fished Edisto and would like to catch some reds and trout. my daughter is 8 and she’s becoming a great fishing partner and there nothing that brings me more joy than watching her catch fish.
I would appreciate any insights on where to focus. I have top water plugs, popping corks, DOA shrimp, gulp shrimp etc. Also, is Edisto marina still open. I have called several times and even sent a email with regards to renting a slip but no replies. I figured they would also have a ramp so I can launch my boat. Thank you for your assistance.
Suggestion, charter Ron Davis early in the week to point you in the right direction for catching. RADDADDY on this site.
Yes the marina is open under new ownership. It’s awesome. Yes they still have the launch. $10 for launch and load. www.themarinaeb.com
