This is a VERY economical boat due to the hull design and amount of hp required to push it effectively. The 115 pushes this boat to 41-42 mph lightly loaded. I usually cruise at 26-30 mph getting 4-5 MPG. (This is not a typo!). I can stay on plane around 15 mph so when I have to bury the tabs and muscle through the slop it will do so without bogging down. The hull drafts around 8" of water and can get shallow as well as go offshore safely. I bought this boat to provide comfort and safety for the family while allowing a lot of flexibility on how and where I can fish. The bow cushion is a hit with the family and the openness of the front allows to pack a lot in. The boat beaches easily due to its design. I have thoroughly enjoyed this boat, but I am moving on for now.
