The Captains meeting will be held on Friday, February 7th, 2014 at RedFish restaraunt located on Palmetto Bay road Hilton Head. Registration will start at 5:30pm and the meeting will begin at 7:00pm.</font id=“red”>

The Series is a 2 fish aggregate tournament. Captains get to declare 2 fish days between February 8th and April 20th. Captains can weigh 1 wahoo for each day. Fish have to be weighed in at Southern Drawl Outfitters in Bluffton, SC by no later than 2:00pm the day after your declared fish day and yes you transport it by car. So you can fish from home and come back home.

There will also be a bonus day, captains who fish the 10th Annual Hilton Head Harbor Wahoo Shootout on April 23rd-26th as a seperate tournament, will be able to count their wahoo weight towards the series, and as a bonus your wahoo weight will count as 1.1lbs towards the Series. This gives you 3 chances to catch 2 good fish and bonus points as well.</font id=“navy”>

Entry fee is $500.00 </font id=“red”>
There will be optional calcuttas for Wahoo, Tuna, Dolphin, and amberjack!

1st prize is $10,000.00(based on 25 boats)</font id=“red”>

The first Wahoo of the series weighed in this morning for team Tuna Hut fishing out of Hilton Head yesterday. They found some great water just a little south. Going 2 for 3 on wahoo, and a good bite on the blackfin.

Wahoo 47.9lbs
Blackfin Tuna calcutta fish 22.7lbs

Congradulations Tuna Hut!

Team Reel Labor decided to brave the east winds and declared their first fish day today. They are fishing out of Editso, and will be weighing in tomorrow.

GOOD LUCK!

Reel Labor checked in last night with a good fish for the scales, they said it was the only Wahoo bite all day, but it turned out to be a good one. Fishing out of Edisto they found warm 74 degree water and worked to the north when the finaly hooked up. Their fished weighed in at 47.6lbs.

Great Job!

It was a great day on the water yesterday!
3 boats fished and all three weigh fish today.

And we have a new leader.

Recovery Room weighed a 49.5lb wahoo to take the lead.

Papa Bear weighed a 22.5lb wahoo

Wildride weighed a 40.8lb wahoo.

All three boats fished from Hilton Head and ran a little south, the water was 72 degrees and clean on the ledge.

Another great day!

3 boats fished today and 2 had nice Wahoo and the other caught a dolphin, the first of the series and maybe the first of the season.

I did forget to mention, a non tournament boat caught a blue marlin off the tripple ledge yesterday!

Edisto Outlaw came in early today and weighed a nice 36.7lb wahoo.(having trouble with the pic they sent, sorry guys)

There are 4 boats declared for 3/11.

Mile High will weigh tomorrow.

My Best Mate will weigh this dolphin tomorrow as well.

Gross Tonnage was the only boat to fish yesterday and what a day they had. Fishing out of McCellanville they put 8 wahoos in the box. Fishing in 72 degree water on the ledge to the north, they weighed a nice 43.5lb wahoo, good first day, way to get on the board.

Congradulations guys!

3 boats fished today from the deli, the south ledge, and all the way to Jax, the bite was a lot tougher. The boats at the deli and south ledge both cought a good load of dolphin, and REEL Labor made the long run to Jax hoping to catch one of those monsters. Its was tough they said and only managed a couple of smaller fish, but they will weigh tomorrow and should take over the lead! Nice work!

Gross Tonnage

Reel Labor takes over the lead after fishing their 2nd declared day yesterday. They weighed this 22.7lb wahoo this morning to go along with their first day fish of 46.7lbs for a total weight of 70.3lbs.

I know they worked hard for this one after making the run to Jax, unfortunately the fished seemed to lock up down there yesterday. We will see them at the Shootout!

Congadulations guys!

Gross Tonnage fishing out of McClellanville continued their roll today, putting 4 wahoo in the boat. Looks like they will take over the lead with this nice fish. We will see them at the scales tomorrow.

Congradulations!

Gross Tonnage weighed in this nice 44.6lb wahoo this morning. They had a great day yesterday catching 4 wahoo and a blackfin tuna. This fish gives them a 2 fish aggregate of 88.1lbs and puts them in the lead! </font id=“red”>
