We’re loaded down with birds. We got a couple bird feeders. Plus I feed squirrels peanuts. I go out and whistle for the squirrels they come. The birds have got wise to that also. Got a blue jay and a couple pairs of cardinals and a bunch of finches when I whistle they all come. I have to crack the shell for the finches so they can carry it. They can’t get their mouth around the whole peanut.
I can make you a dress pair of pants shirt whatever you want. I got kicked out of shop and sent to home economics. I took it for 3 years. 7th grade I got sent there 8th and 9th grade I signed up.
Only boy in the class. Daddy didn’t raise no fool.

I’m jealous of those blueberries! Fred, the plant you gave me is still alive but not doing much. I know they take a while to thrive; I’m in it for the long haul!
Bad time right now, but I’ll give ya some more this fall if you want some. Try putting some Miracle grow Miacid on them. Might not be that name anymore… Get the miracle grow for acid loving plants. They love a REALLY acidic soil. 4.5-5.5 ph.
I had to replant most all my zucchini and yellow squash. Potatoes and Kale doing good. Gonna pick some tomorrow and saute with a little bacon grease.
I know I’m probably screwing up again, but picked up deer repellant wildflowers again to feed the deer. Got about two acres prepped and another 1/2 acre in fence that I’ll do a variety of sunflowers and zinnias. Fingers crossed.

That thing has been turning for almost 30 years … I pumped a couple shots of grease in it this year… It spins fantastic, just doesn’t turn like it used to.

Hey Man!! don’t laugh! I’ve been doing some research on Dandelions and medical benefits! If you remember this is the biggest “weed” target that Herbicide companies have targeted. Remember Round up is owned by big Pharma. For liver benefits it helps promote bile flow … detoxifying the liver. Lowers Blood pressure. Cleans the Lymph system. And a bunch of other things. My mom was made to drink tea made from it and I’ve spoken with a few other older folk that remember eating it as greens and also as a stomach ache reliever.
Pretty much all our drugs are synthesized versions of naturally occurring plants. Man survived for thousands of years on natural remedies, that were mostly wiped out and hidden during the industrial revolution and the rise of Big Pharma. No money in you and I fixing ourselves.

And just like that, I’ve got new Potatoes to eat tonight. Kale is doing fantastic along with the collards. Gonna have a few green onions done in butter. Should have cucumbers and squash by the end of the week.

Thank Mixed! I love to just boil them and use a parsely butter mix on them. Wife just took her mom and dad some and I’m headed over to my mom’s with a mess for her.
