When I saw the OP I knew it was a fake… He’d have a hard time knowing what to do with a cobia if it jumped in his boat. Much less catch one in December…

We caught a small One at the Ross in late October on a big jig. So I almost believed him.

Ha! Good one.

Just trying to spread a little Holiday cheer, kinda like this guy:

That woman at about 1:00 in needs to be reminded “now don’t go ninjin’ nobody that don’t need ninjin’”

I looked outside to see if my dogwoods were blooming.

working hard and playing harder

We caught some Redfish in the Broad River yesterday that almost looked like Cobia. Fought like them too  Released 30 or so, almost all over slot. Plus about 50 big, fat trout, 6 Black Drum over 10 pounds and a dozen more small ones, and 2 Sheepshead, caught by accident. Kept 7 trout for dinner, everything else released.

I’ll just have to make do with these I reckon, until the Dogwoods bloom and the Pecans leaf again

Wow, that sounds like a great trip! Do you eat the Black Drum or are those a little to big taste wise?

My arms and back are feeling a little tender today due to all the AJ’s and other bottom dwellers we caught yesterday offshore. It is a good sore though:sunglasses:!

Really sucked having to send down BIG ARS, BSB’s and Vermillion…Had to poke a few to get em down.
