If this guy sold his LCP for $400, I am going to sell mine and buy 2

I thought that too, but if its got the laser, plus two extra mags at $20 each plus ammo, its probably not that far off. I bought a couple of them when PSA had them at $200.

wow, that’s worth a post in Bonzo’s Bargains. wish I hadn’t traded an SKS for a gen1 LCP a few years ago…

The model with the Crimson Trace sells for around $450-$470.

The crimson trace adds almost $200.

Wow, $200 for a new one. Might have to check under the sofa cushions.

I might buy another one. You let me know if I need to do anything for you.

you should probably read the entire ad and what was included before sharing your opinion on the price.

Excellent deal for the seller. I bought mine with <50 rounds through it, 20 home defense rounds, 2 mags, and 2 holsters for $300. Great CCW but not fun on the range!

To buy the Crimson Trace itself would cost around $250.

I had been looking at pocket guns and the LCP was on my short list. I ordered one last night as that price was better than what I could get with my LE discount. I’ll be picking y’all’s brains about good practice/carry ammo as I have never owned a .380.

Anyone out there own a SCCY CPX? Looked at one of these and am really intrigued. The only negative I’ve heard is a long double-action only trigger pull.

polish feed ramp with mother’s and dremel, round ball in the pipe and critical defense or hydra shok for the stack. best cheap additions are Hogue grip (palm swell alone made a huge difference) and desantis nemesis- works great in any pocket. Factory grip extension on the mags for large hands (I have XL hands and the Pearce extension is still a little too big, hangs up in the pocket too). my biggest problem is pulling the shot sideways from the long DA travel. wolff spring kit (along with more range time), would probably help that. you’ll enjoy it, fun little guns.

My wife and I both had a the LCP .380. Easy gun to carry and shot pretty well, but that long DA trigger sucks to me. We both traded ours in on the new LC9s and are both very happy with them. Much nicer trigger, a little more fire power and very little extra bulk over the
LCP.

Agree with you about the trigger, but for something my wife is going to carry with one in the chamber, I really like the heavy trigger pull. You have to mean to shoot it.

I’ve also got the bodyguard 380, another great conceal gun. I’m way more accurate with the bodyguard, but in a pinch, either work well in capable hands. When practicing, I’ll make her put two magazines through the carry gun, then move on to the more fun, bigger guns.

If I had to choose, the bodyguard fits my hand better, but adding grips to the LCP would probably make them equal to me I imagine. That small barrel makes it tough to be accurate, but you have to understand it’s limitations and intended purpose.

I chuckle when I see write ups about pocket pistols and groupings at 25 yards. Pocket pistols are for self-defense and that almost never involves shooting at 25 yards. Just spoke to a friend of mine today who runs a range and keeps up with all the latest gun news. He said Ruger has actually shortened the trigger pull on the newer LCPs. I guess I’ll find out.

Me too. These aren’t target guns, they are defensive pistols. Most of what happens will happen within 20’, not 25 yards. If the threat is 25 yards away, I will run, duck and dive, or be fighting my way to a better weapon.

A .380 in hand is much better than a .45 in the truck.
