Excellent
Weak fishing report though. What kind of bait? What tide? How were you holding your mouth?

Good on you, Nic! Congrats.
good catch. Nice to see there are a few getting caught.
“Lock em’ down”
Thanks guys…
Cracker Larry…caught on a stiff, dead greenie, outgoing tide, and my mouth was wide open cause we had just said lets pack up and head to the hill. Lot of people were out.
Saw two other legal fish and one short fish caught.
Bait was still a little hard to come by. It came and went and the tide was ripping so hard you couldnt keep the baits on the bottom hardly

That’s better
The full moon tides are tough fishing for sure. That river has a strong current on a good day. Catch any whiting on the bottom?

Nic where were you fishing? If you rather answer by PM I understand. I fished the bridge and saw 3 keepers caught. Fished from around 7am - 2pm. You aren’t kidding about keeping the baits down I had 7oz on mine and could have probably used a couple more. I was in the seafoam green scout winyah bay if you saw me. Had chum on top and bottom and didn’t even get a nibble all day. The 2 boats that caught fish were right next to me… Go figure! Cracker Larry I didn’t have any luck catching bait. The boat next to me did catch one whiting on the bottom. There were about 25 boats at the bridge all day.

Awesome report man. I figured they would start catching them this weekend. Nice fish!

Cracker…I didnt even try for whiting on the bottom cause the current was pulling so hard. My friend went and anchored up near the shore before he came to the bridge and caught a few pretty quickly.
Madfire, I was the third boat from you on the lemon island side. Was in my brothers 225 key west bluewater white hull with the 225 suzuki, you left a little bit before we put this one in the boat. We chummed top and bottom also with only a handful of greenies to show for it.
For what its worth, I changed the sabiki to the most ridiculous looking one we had and it caught a few immediately. Could be a coincidence but the normal looking rig was doing nothing before that.

Nice fish! I was beginning to wonder if they were even in the same area code yet LOL…

Nic, good job on the nice cobia. I think I saw y’all leaving the bridge. We were in the black sterling flats boat. Would of stopped to say hi if we new it was someone on here!
Nic I saw you guys out there… Congrats on the fish. The guys in the scout next to me had all the luck. Maybe I’ll have some next time!

It wasn’t all luck…there’s something to be said about being in the right place at the right time. J/k btw fishing for Cobia is a crap shoot if you ask me.
Hey Coach… We’ve been friends for a while now and you’re just now telling me this???
