Caught another one. All my poles going off with sharks and the redfish had me doing a dance session on the beach.
This guy originally bit my bait rod. It was set up with a double drop size 1 circle hooks with small m&m size chunks of whiting. This rod is my bass rod not meant to catch this size of fish. It screamed the line off my reel and broke off on the rocks. 5 seconds later my big rod starts going off. I battled the redfish in thinling the whole time that he ate my bait on both rods. That was not the case. The second hook hanging off the double drop rig hooked up with the hook on my other rod. I reeled this sucker in with just hooks linked up. Any slack and it would have been gone. Had to take some pics to show. Still cant beleive it. Anyone else have this happen to them?.
