Fished rising tide hoping to find clear water. It was late in the tide before we found relatively clear water and finally caught 2 trout, a spottail, and flounder before tide and heat was high. Can’t find one of several minnow traps I have so we fished with artificial shrimp and mullet imitations. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads!
Finally figured out why the water was so messed up last week…the dredge upstream! From reports I’ve heard the water has cleared up and the fishing has improved even for a full moon! I will be back soon to try it again.
