Fished 6/22 inshore no luck, 6/23 fished the south Edisto and caught a few sharks, all released. 6/24 Spanish at the A can. We were headed to the 40 but, saw fish jumping and birds diving. My Aunt, a fella from Ohio, and myself duked it out with the spanish and a couple of sharks. We released the sharks but, kept enough spanish for our 16 and Ohio’s 9. Kudo’s to our chef who blackened some of the spanish and put some Carribean jerk seasoning on the others. Took my uncle back out on 6/25 lookin for the same luck. Not a sign of them on the surface so we headed to the 40. Immediately hooked up on a good shark, released. After a few more shark we hooked a nice spanish, it took a leap and as we got it to the boat a big king cut it in half. Then we had a cobia cruising with the boat but could not get it to hit anything. We drifted live bait on the outside of the 2 markers. Trying to figure out how to post pictures.
