8 months of fishing in USVI photo dump

I moved to St John in the USVI last September to run a boat and it has been quite an experience. I fish a 32’ Calypso Center Console with an inboard diesel named the Mixed Bag 2. We also have a 40’ Luhrs named the Mixed Bag. Even though I’m fishing for a bunch of the same species I was catching in the Keys, the fishing down here is pretty different. We do a lot of livebaiting inshore for Kings, Cero, YT and Mutton Snappers, Hinds, APs and offshore for BFT, Dolphin, Kings, Big YT and Mutton Snappers, Grey and Queen Triggerfish, Rainbow Runners and more.

All people want to see are the pictures.

Some dream, others do. I’ll have to live vicariously through you Rap. Thanks for the pics, looks like you are suffering through it all down there.

Wow that looks amazing. The puking picture cracked me up!

That’s the life only most can dream to live! I’m sure there are downsides; I just can’t put my finger on many.
