he water clarity around the south side of Edisto is marginal, at best. That did not stop 8 year old Grady from catching redfish (3 plus one gollywhopper making it to the barnacles and cutting off), trout (18 inches), and drum. Grady can cast, set the hook, and fight the fish like a pro! And he helped me dress the fish they kept for dinner. Great job, Grady! Bob PS The whole deal, for me at least, is running around, to find that clearer water.

We are down at Edisto and went out with a friend today. It was midday so not much happening. We caught 4 undersize reds and a small black drum. Funny thing is we got back to the house and the ladies weren’t back from the beach yet, so we went to the dock and caught a 19" redfish and an 18" trout (which became dinner). Awesome! Give me a ring and come by the house. We’re here till midday Sunday…
