Went Saturday from 7-8am fished passed the washout instead of the Lighthouse inlet because of the wind and a lot of people came by saying the wind was to bad. The current was bad and in the course of an hour I saw about 5 6ft waves and one had a awesome curl. First cast caught a jack and put on shark line, then missed several hits. The secret is to stand in the depth of water you like to fish (2ft) and fish inline with the current when the currents are really bad. Only fished about 20 minutes and then had to body surf because of nice waves but only body surfed for 20 minutes because all the nice waves where to deep for me because the current would of washed me down the beach. I could have battled it out and caught fish but decided to leave and go do yard work because I could use it as a reason to go fishing again this week.
I was on folly today every time I waded out the waves would beat u to death lol caught a nice red around 39 to 40 inches so it was worth it lol
