Personally I think Clemson is indeed a top ten team this year. With that being said, I donât think they can finish undefeated and I imagine theyâll finish the year around #8 or #9. Running the gauntlet with no losses is extremely difficult for any team to do.
I donât think this year is the college football playoff year. A great bowl game, yes, but not the final four. I think with as young as the team is, that 2016 is really going to be their shot at everything lining up and making a run for a national title. Lots of scary young talent right now; surly its exciting to be a Tiger fan right now. I wish you all the best except for that late November game in Columbia.

Youâre probably right. Youth hurts and the lack of real depth on the defense, especially at LB is going to hurt somewhere.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldnât go so far as to call a dog filthy but theyâre definitely dirty. But, a dogâs got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Agreed, but the schedule looks pretty good now. Obviously not looking past FSU but I ever feel we have the advantage there too. We are young but our defense can play and the offense has loads of potential. Tbh if we had mike Williams I would feel much more comfortable about winning out.
Staying healthy is a must though. We lost too many in pre and early season.
I take it one game at a time, see where we end up. I agree with 23, but there is always that possibility, be it ever so slight, that we make it to the big show!! Go Tigers!!
We are missing a good center and tight end badly. The rest of the offense is doing great considering. It is hard for me not to want to see a combo guy come in there and give another dimension to the running game, but it could just be that our play callers want to use a jet sweep or quick screen rather than handing off. Gallman reminds me of James Davis a lot, and it would be nice to see a Spiller type back come in as well. Brooks and Dye are not that caliber. The drop off there is huge if we lose Gallman or he has an off game.
Everything else is improving every week. I am not as worried about offense missing the long ball threat with Williams out and Peake still not able to live up to expectations because we have gained Renfrow becoming a possession slot receiver who can catch basically anything thrown at him in tight spaces. I will take that.
Defense is getting better and not a liability in and of itself. The conservative play calling in the last two games once we had a lead are what has contributed to points getting on the board late in the halves. A few plays got blown against GT, but it wasnât the same guy in the secondary. The whole two-deep are getting better up front in my opinion.
The youth is going to hurt us more if key positions get injured. The coaching and leadership on the team is good enough to where at this point in the season, youth isnât an excuse anymore. Weâre past the game where I thought youth would hurt usâŚ
Leggett was the target of a sure TD against ND but Watson threw it short. Heâs been pretty sure handed of late though and heâs blocking great, in fact the OL has exceeded expectations. That snap was as much on Watson as Guillermo, he took his eyes off of it.
