About Our Trout

Everyone is familiar with the cold weather we experienced in the first week of January this past year. Many of us heard reports and saw videos of fish that had been killed of were lethargically trying to swim. None of us were really sure just how bad this weather event had hurt fish populations especially our trout, that are more susceptible to cold temperatures. The following is a report that DNR has released after their findings over the last several months. Please note, that while things are not as bad as they originally thought, they are asking us to release our trout to let them spawn this year.
