All I want to know is....

Who was it that peed their pants on the 21 Grady Saturday evening in the Broad river?:stuck_out_tongue:

We heard the whole thing on the radio and were on standby about 20 minutes away willing to come help. But by the time we understood the situation you were already home.

We heard it too, but only the CG side of things…CG was asking if they wanted to be removed from their vessel. Sounded like the storm really shook them up. We were 20 or so miles offshore and got caught in it as well. NOAA weather radio alert called for 50 knot winds and golf ball sized hail. Lightning was popping everywhere. I’m assuming they made it to port, because CG asked them if they were going out again. Glad they made it back safely, things can get scary quick…:

We also heard the whole thing while we were in the same storm coming in from way off shore (triple ledge).
The guys mic was barely working and he sounded scared to death. We were just off paris island at that time so we were to far away to do anything. But we could tell he was somewhere around Lemon Island. Which shouldn’t have been life threatening or anything. Anyway, we did make out him saying (whining) that the storm had mostly passed.
I will say it was a hell of a dump. If I hadn’t had a decent chart plotter working I’d have been unable to navigate. Couldn’t see 50ft the rain was so hard.

Afishianado, anything to report from down south, fish wise, that you would be willing to share?
