Hello all,
I have been wanting to introduce and announce this for a while now but been so busy.
The Coastal Carolina Classic 2013 http://www.carolinacoastalclassic.com is a surf and land based shark / red fish tournament that myself and other members of requiemfishing will be hosting this October 5th through the 12th.
This is open to both North and South Carolina fishing, and as long as you abide by the legal restrictions of shark fishing from our piers and counties that unfortunately do not allow it, fishing from a pier, bridge, jetty or the surf is fine.
Registration waivers are being looked over by some legal friends (registration should be open August 1st), and our anglers meeting location is just about set. I still wanted to announce its existence early to start giving everyone a chance to plan for a trip if desired.
70% of all entry fees will be returned as prize money, and whatever money we raise through raffle prizes and other sources will be donated to Ocearch. Currently talking to some people about sponsoring some prizes so well see how we make out.

If you see any bugs with the website or errors, or suggestions please feel free to leave ■■■■■■■■, this is going to be a learning experience bigger than I expect, but I need an outlet for all my passion when I can’t fish, and we need something closer for all the people who can’t make it down to FL for Josh and Will’s tournaments.

I know this should possibly be in the tournament and community events, but since it is strictly surf fishing tournament I figured more surf fishermen might see it here rather than there.
