Mitch Hyatt, the #1 rated OL & #4 rated player overall by ESPN is bringing his talents to Tigertown. Great start to the 2015 class. Plays left tackle and will protect our 5 star QB Watson for a few years. Big time pick up. Dude dominated the best of the best in the all star camps last summer.
How long before Fritz makes a comment about 5 stars not panning out at Clemson (like Sammy, Stephone Anthony, Spiller, Bowers etc)?
Iâm a recruiting junkieâŚits fascinating once you start following it. Its like a male soap opera and is packed with drama.
Our 2015 class could be special, lots of top end talent that we are recruiting, especially on the O-line. Iâm liking our class this year also, just hope that we can somehow close with Andrew Williams. He would be a great addition to the D-line.
Recruiting is hit and miss. Florida St has had a top 5 class for the past 20 years. They have not been so great until last year. Decent high school players have the ability to dominate and look way better than they really are due to lack of good competiton. The scouting process and star system have gotten a little better since they changed the formula around awhile back. 5 star players are a great thing to have. Most 5 star players are the real deal. Mitch Mustaine and Willy Korn are a few I can think of that were not so great. Great pick up for the tiggers.
I hear ya CRM and yes the ranking process for the top talent has gotten much better the last few years since rivals and scout and others starting hosting the 5 star challenges. They match the best rated players up against each other to see if they really are the real deal
For example watch highlights of Hyatt vs Blackshear. Hyatt owned him in all of the reps they were against eachother.
Yes that was not to long ago. Lucky for us his mother is not a corrupt nigerian polititican; Hyatts uncle played for Clemsons National Championship team in 81. This dude wonât waver.
Speaking of Hyatt owned Nkimdchie when he was a sophomore and Nkimdiche was a senior (they played in the same HS conference). Dude is that good.
Clem, Williams was supposedly a Auburn/CU battle but UGA made a stong push late because of their new DC Pruitt is a badass. The guys on TI are saying its too tough to call and that Williams will keep it hush hush until his announcment tomorrow.

PS love your new tagline Fritz. Classic.
It wasn't hard to achieve. Especially since not many guides post here

Two tough teams to beat out but fingers crossed.
I hear ya, UGA may have made a late push but I feel that itâs still between AU and Clemson. UGA will still be running a 3-4 base D, and he fits in better with a 4-3/ 4-2-5.
Shev, whats the deal with Scott Pagano?Havent heard in a while about him.
He redshirted last year, and he will get plenty of playing time this season as a RS Freshman. We are deep on the D-line, so there wasnât a reason to dress him last year. He will be making a name from him self in about 2 years.
A kid picks Ole Miss over Kwempson and now you say on the world wide web that his mother is a corrupt Nigerian politicianâŚNow your scaring me.
its nothing that has not been said on the WWW many time before. She left her middle school age kids to live with another family so she could go back and be in their senate. you know Nigeria has one of the most corrupt political systems in the world, right?
Would scare me if you didnât know that. Some light reading from a 2 second google search.
It also manages to pay its legislators the highest salaries in the world, with a basic wage of 122,000 pounds, nearly double what British MPs earn and many hundreds of times that of the country?s ordinary citizens.
If her name had come up, yes, still would have given my thoughts.
She is a public figure and talked badly about Clemson in a public light âbecause Clemson didnât ask her permission before her son committedâ. So, she is subject to any and all criticism.
