Well the Tigers are playing some serious ball now. 3 straight ACC Championships and trips to the playoffs.
Not bad for a rebuilding year.
The last 3 years Clemson was ranked in the top 4 in the first CFP poll and the last. 3 ACC Trophy’s, 4 in a row against the Cocks with a couple of blowouts, 14 win seasons, and a CFP Natty. We going to the Sugar Bowl. Wooooooo!!!

I don’t think there is a more complete team than Clemson right now. I think Oklahoma has the offense to go toe to toe with Clemson but their defense is non-existent. In my opinion, Georgia is the next best “complete” team but I don’t believe their QB play is on the same level as Clemson’s. Granted, Georgia’s RB play is top tier but if you contain their running game, I don’t believe Fromm (a true Freshman) is ready/capable of putting the team on his back and carrying them to victory.
I just don’t see anyone left that may make the playoffs that will put as complete of a team on the field as Clemson. They’re clicking on all cylinders right now.

I will agree Clemson appears to be the team to beat, but am curious how Alabama is falling apart? I read that and immediately hit the headlines to see if something had happened. Not a Bama fan at all, but not sure what you meant?

They have good reason to imho, but it is what it is. I think they should be in over Ohio State, who got destroyed by Iowa and has two losses.
I’ve got no comment on the subject as I’m just over the moon right now and really don’t give two Hurricanes about Bama and their case.

I will add this. I would like to see us play a rematch in round 1. Don’t get me wrong, I would love another OSU shutout, but knocking Bama out in the Semis would be just as sweet and I think would be an epic game and go way further for recruiting than playing OSU.
And no amount of “you got lucky Bama wasn’t in it” comments will tarnish a back 2 back and this season. How many years we got with KB2?

You know your football program is doing something right when you miss (potentially) the CFP for the first time since its inception, you’ve sat atop the AP and Coach’s poll most of the year, you only have one loss (against a team that just played for the conference championship) and others think you’re “falling apart.” Lol!!!

Meyer recruits from the south all the time thanks to his ties to Florida. IMO we compete with him for recruits more than Saban. We have a 5* OL trying to chose between us now. I would rather take down tOSU again.

Well if it’s so obvious, why do some think Bama is “falling apart?” Obviously it’s not obvious to some.
I, like you, believe Bama is one of the most storied schools in college football history. That’s why I said what I did in response to someone else’s “falling apart” comment. Tons of college football fans wish their teams were “falling apart” like Bama.
